Multifunctional tool replacing front hub.
Dummy hub is a device that is used when:
- You are burnishing fork bushings and want to make sure that the fork is working properly with a hub with a nominal width.
- You are burnishing fork bushings and suspect that you will get the best results with a hub with a width that deviates from the nominal.
-you want to check the parallelism of the hub clamping surfaces and assess the impact of any deviations on the operation of the fork.
The included bracket will also allow you to mount lower legs to the bench during service. Thanks to it, you will have a stable support during disassembly and assembly of seals or when wrapping with protection layer.
Threaded holes and included screws allow for direct mounting to a wooden table top. Optionally, it can be mounted in a vice. The device is compatible with 15x100, 15x110 and 20x110 spacings. It is designed in such a way as to maintain parallelism of the planes of both ends.
NOTE: The clamp must be tightened before the shock absorber axle is tightened. This is a necessary condition for the correct operation of the device and its durability.
Recommended torque value for mounting screws: 25 +/-5 Nm
Recommended torque value for clamp screws: 8 +/-1 Nm
All necessary mounting bolts are incliuded.
